Miniature Bindings
A look at some of the miniature bindings within the FIMS Graduate Library's Rare Books and Special Materials Collection. The tiniest of these books is only 6 cm and is a small Bible that can be easily carried around, unlike the massive medieval tomes that can be found in other libraries. Often miniature books were finely decorated and exhibited the craftsmen skills of the bookbinder.
