Description

This book follows Ida who plays her horn for baby sister every night to get her to sleep while her father is away at sea. One night while she is playing her horn and not paying attention to the baby, goblins sneak in and steal the baby. When Ida realizes this she sounds her horn, grabs her mother's coat, and sets out. However, she goes out the back window and enters Outside Over There where she cannot find the goblins or her sister. She hears her father's voice telling her to turn around. When she does she comes across the goblins who are now in the form of babies and in the midst of a wedding. To tell which one is her sister she plays a tune on her horn which sends the goblins into a frenzy and they fall in the stream. She then picks up her sister and heads home to find out that her father has written and promises to return.

The book has been banned over claims that it references nudity, religion, and witchcraft.
