Accompanying note reads: "This keepsake, distributed to members of The Alcuin Society in 1977, was selected, designed and printed by G. Brender a Brandis at the Brandstead Press in Carisle, Ontario / . . . . . . . . . . . / It is the third in a series printed for the Society by the 'inkier fellows', as one so happily described them : members who have an inclination to print."
